The 5 th edition of the Stella Musica Festival will take place on March 21 and 22, 2019 at the magnificent Théâtre Outremont. Starring Barbara Croall, renowned musician and composer from the Odawa First Nation. On the program, emerging artists, established and virtuosos, under the artistic direction of Katarzyna Musial. Stella Musica Festival is celebrating its 4th edition in a big way! We will welcome soprano Natalie Choquette, whose reputation is well established. It will also be an opportunity to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War.
Under the honorary presidency of the Honorable Chantal Petitclerc, the Festival will take place on March 22 and 23, 2018, at the magnificent Outremont Theater (1248, avenue Bernard Ouest). PRESS RELEASE
It is with great pride that the Stella Musica Festival unveils the program for its 3 th edition. Placed under the sign of the meeting of various musical traditions, this edition will bring together artists of very high level having, each in its own way, explored unusual territories. For its second edition, the Stella Musica Festival, under the artistic direction of Katarzyna Musial, invites the public to a unique and exciting concert presented at the Outremont Theater.
This year, the highlights of the Festival Stella Musica are, the composer Madame Isabelle Panneton with the work Trois fois passera, La Suite pour Toy Piano by John Cage, the winner of the Opus Prize and nominee of the Juno, the cellist Elinor Frey, as well as the Orchestra of the University of Montreal led not by a single conductor, but by three female conductors for the vast string orchestra program.
